Sunrise at Marina Beach!!

This is something you should do while in Chennai. Its quite a sight to witness. The horizons, the sun, the colour of the sky and the sound of the waves and you in the middle of all this. Trust me its something!!

We started by 5.30 am from Valsarvakam and headed straight to the beach. The weather was gloomy but i was confident we would make it to the beech on time. We were lucky coz it was a delayed rise ;)

We got wet a bit in the morning due to an early shower that welcomed us on the roads .. It was a great experience riding in Chennai on an early rainy morning and actually feeling cold :P

We made it by around 6 am and waited at the beech... just staring at the vast ocean that lay in front of us. Thanking God for such a beautiful day!!

The beech was dirty no doubt but the smell of the waters and the colours of the sky just made us forget everything else.

Finally the sun decided to show up. It was a beauty!! The orange colour was unforgettable. The reflection on the water was just mesmerizing. And to top it off,we had about 2000 pigeons on the beach. I simply cannot explain how breathtaking it was.

Such a beauty!!

We left the beach by around 8 am, had dosas and idlys on our way back with freshly brewed filter coffee.
